BONES IN THE BASKET
Bones has had a solid week…we are deep into designer meetings right now, and there are a lot of new and exciting ideas being generated by the American Theatre for Actors for both scenic and costume design. We are about a month from rehearsals proper beginning, but the ensemble has begun to work on ideas for the story that we are adding to the show for this fall…I don’t want to spoil anything but I can say it involves a crying hare, a bloody sickle, and a vaudeville routine. Beyond that, fundraising continues…we just achieved 25% of our goal on Indiegogo! With more than a month of the campaign to go!
Tickets for The Fatal Eggs will be available starting next week! www.fataleggs.com
OCTOBER IN THE CHAIR AND OTHER FRAGILE THINGS
This week, Old Sound Room's Kickstarter campaign came to a close at $2000 over our base goal! And with that, we kicked off rehearsals on Tuesday. Equity contracts signed, lunches in the fridge, and costume designs on the wall. It begins!
THE WOMAN IN THE BASEMENT
RADD Theatre Co. went live! Our IndieGoGo was approved by Fractued Atlas, so we launched our compaign and got our first few donations! We also had intital meetings about casting, which will be starting soon. And our play is revised and finished; thank god for all the feedback we got at the bootcamp.
Sea Legs: A Nautical New Musical starts our audition process tomorrow! With two full days of auditions and callbacks on Sunday, we are looking forward to having a full cast by next week.
YOU, ME & THAT GUY
Pink House Productions is planning a reading of "You, Me & That Guy" at the Barrow Street Theatre on August 16th, from 7PM-9:30! Come down for a free reading with complimentary tickets with admission (21+ to participate in drinks). We've also had a very successful fundraiser in San Diego, California, which has brought us closer to making this show a reality!
MARE IN THE MEN'S ROOM
The Mare in the Men's Room team is opening their FringeNYC show this weekend (check out our Theatre Mania press - http://www.theatermania.com/new-york-city-theater/news/08-2014/7-shows-you-should-see-at-the-2014-new-york-intern_69407.html), so we've been busy bees getting all set up! We are even further into design talks for Mare, our set designer Shelley Barrish sent over some incredible renderings this week. We are getting really excited to see all of these ideas beginning to become real!
